Garfield

I am so grateful for the communication I had with my cat Garfield through Jane. I had noticed that Garfield had been getting weaker and more ill. I had taken him to the vets and they told me that there was nothing else I could do for him. I am a strong believer in doing the best for the animal and not for our feelings, but putting this into practice on my own animal was very hard. I really needed to know what he felt about all of this; I couldn’t just take his life without having consulted him. I contacted Jane and received a very moving reply from her. Garfield had told her things she could never have known and, most importantly, he told her that he understood what I had to do and he was ready to go. It was still a very hard thing to do, but knowing that Garfield had given his permission and was happy made it possible for me to do the right thing by him. I am so grateful for the communication Jane did and the support she gave me.

Raja

Raja's owner contacted me and asked if I could help. It was immediately clear that Raja was a rescue dog and once I confirmed this with his owner this is what he had to say:

Raja tells me he lives in a home very much devoted to caring, both for animals and people. It is very different from where he came. He was hungry and very frightened - he gave me a very shaky feeling. It also felt like he was in a hole of some kind - very dark. He is emotionally scarred but feels safe with you and particularly one other person also, although he tells me there are more in your family that he is with. He loves the singing and music that is in the house. It comforts him. He has flashes of joyfulness but is very wary on occasions and is particularly frightened of strangers, especially men and people in hats - men again in general. Your other dog is still around him and again comforts him - he found it easy to be around her when she was here, but not all the time; he can be a solitary soul. There is a very sisterly/motherly feel to her (the other dog) but she is not related. I also get an Egyptian feel to Raja - cannot place this at all but something it came when he was linking with me. He tells me this also relates to the other dog? He has a pain in the right hand side of his head, particularly the ear, and he tells me he was hit on this side. He feels stiff on this side of his body and his right paw gives him pain on occasions. He has a large mat that he likes to lay on. He is also sick with anxiety sometimes - more of a feeling - but is a really delightful dog! He has a real fear of going hungry. He cannot thank you enough for helping him and he desperately wants to move on, but knows that you understand that he is not quite ready to do this. He feels that this will come given time. He says that you are or have thought about being a healer/communicator yourself and he is very proud of you. This may only be an interest at the present time.

Hello Jane,

Thank you so much for your help with our "little" boy. You are using your gifts beautifully! Raja has a scar on the right side of his face/head. He barks at any of us walking through the door wearing caps or beanies. He is a solitary soul preferring the company of his human family to anything else. Cleopatra, the girl that passed, was tolerant of Raja - there was no love loss between the two, yet they respected each other and learned to appreciate one another over time. We have a great deal of music and singing in our home. I am a Reiki practitioner, sell and work with stones, and a student of Polynesian, American, and African Shamanism. You hit everything on the head and I am so grateful for your "outside perspective". I find myself too close to my family many times to trust myself.
